Joel, good post. I follow Nicole Dean’s blog tour that she did on 4.Mike Paetzold’s blog. It was very interesting and very informative. I am not sure that I am ready for a blog tour yet. I know that Mike is starting one of his own and I will follow that and see how it goes. I will look at the resource you mentioned and who knows what the future holds.

For those not yet ready to do a full bog tour, or too new to the biz to write that much content, an easy way to start is to do a ‘blog comment tour’, visiting all the main blogs in their niche and offering insightful comments on the information provided in the post they find there. Not only will they get their name and link out there and gain both Branding and traffic benefits, but they’re sure to learn a lot from the post they’re reading too!

I did see Nicole’s sales page a while ago and I felt, as I’m still trying to drive some initial traffic to my blog, that I’m not ready yet for doing a blog tour myself. reading your post I got intrigued again, so i will go back and have another deeper look into it.
