I think it’s is always good to start simple. It’s easy to get overwhelmed in IM. As long as you are doing something and gathering feedback while, you will grow fast. The good thing about this stuff is that you can grow at your own pace and when you find what works, rinse and repeat

Flashback – 2001 – Me and a website – I lost money! Not the fault of the company I built the site under, my own.
I had no idea, really, where or how really to start an online business and I paid for it. And so many follow the same path to destruction in the beginning. And that’s how you have to look at it to succeed. You are not the first, you won’t be the last.
Get a proven system, follow the basic steps to build your business. Once the basics are in place, it’s time to more on to the next level. One step at a time!

Building upon the basics is essential, and if you try to skip ahead too fast you risk missing a set of foundational info that is sure to undermine your efforts in time. It’s always good to pause, take a deep breath and move forward. The climb is worth it, even if the journey can be rocky form time to time.

My first job was in a mail room – (do they still have those?) and I worked my way up to management in many other departments within the same company. I wanted to move up so I learned from others and when the opportunity came up for a promotion I was ready. It’s the same in the online business, you really need to know the basics to put all the pieces together. Once you start to put all the pices together things really start to happen
