I have been a lot more focus this year than before. I like your suggestion about taking a look at what has not been working and look for ways to find things that will work. Learning from other marketers is a good place to start as you suggested.

Yes it is the time of the year to start reflecting and preparing for 2010. I started earlier this month and just taking the time reflect on the past results and what I want to achieve next year is the beginning of new focus for 2010.

I have to agree. It is much easier to learn from someone who has already been there than it is to try and blaze the trail all by yourself.
This is a great package of material from Mike and a lot of great marketers to learn from. Definitely a good opportunity to learn.

Such a great point right there! Learning from those people who have already undergone the situation will really help you learn the right strategies, the do’s and dont’s and the true effective methods. Well. who could teach more than the teachers themselves. I guess it’s one key to success, being humble enough to learn from other people’s experiences. That’s right! Procrastination is a real sickness that is why we should start working on important stuff, not tomorrow, the next day, but now!
Great tips. I think I am a little late though as it is almost mid-year! I guess its never too late to start though. Thanks for the great read and motivation.

It’s been amazing to see all the high quality material that’s been coming on the market for peanuts or even free lately. You are right that learning from those who went before you is the only sound way to make progress. Too many of us try to reinvent the wheel. Why not avoid some of the mistakes and take advantage of the shortcuts we can learn from them. This is difficult enough without trying to do it all on our own.
