Breathe new sales into your business to power it up so that you can take control of your future!

For a lot of people online, it can be hard and frustrating trying to figure out how to sell an info-product. You might already have a fantastic product ready to go, but for some reason no one is buying it.

It doesn’t take long for many people to consider giving up and moving on… and without learning from an expert who continues to sell product after product, I can understand how they feel.

This is where you need to breathe new life into your income, and give it some much needed CPR. Use the expert knowledge from Nicole Dean and her Income CPR course to boost your online business. Click here for more information.

It’s Time To Step It Up!

Is now the time for you to step it up?

This past year or two has been hard online (and offline) for a lot of online marketers, in terms of their business growing or slowing down.

Whenever you start a business, it WILL take time, and probably years before seeing a substantial income from it… this includes online business as well.

It takes time, patience, and sometimes money to see an internet business grow to the point where you can leave your current job or make a nice side income.

I see a lot of marketers for far too long slacking off and coasting by… leaving a lot of time and opportunity on the table. I have been guilty of this myself.

It’s time to step up and TAKE CONTROL of your business future… no longer is “I’ll do it tomorrow” an excuse!

You may be confused or frustrated at where to turn, what type of online business you want to start. Or maybe you already have one but you realize that it’s not what you want… so you want to start something new.

I can’t tell you what to do or what type of online business is best, as they all involve different amounts of work/time, money, and skill.

But whatever you decide to do… do it 100%. Don’t let anything stop you!

Here’s a few of the many possible online business ventures:

  • Building multiple websites that rank high in the search engines that you can earn advertising revenue from (like Google Adsense and others).
  • Become a freelancer. Offer writing services, programming, graphic design, etc.
  • Create digital products to sell, like ebooks, videos, software.
  • Teach people how to do something, via a blog, online course, etc.
  • Create websites for the purpose of selling them.
  • Build a website design service business, building sites and offering other related services to clients (Hot topic right now for helping offline businesses).

All of these things require work and time. You WILL have to invest time to learn, don’t expect to know how to do your work well with just a few hours of trying it out.

But also don’t get stuck in the learning phase. Many people will stay there and never think they are good enough to be paid for their work.

Let me be honest and say… working online for yourself might not be the best thing for everyone. It takes work and a lot of discipline, but if you can handle that, then it might do very well for you.

Push yourself to work hard, push yourself to continually grow your business. Get started NOW!

Here’s what you can do…

  1. Sit down today and write out your goals and where you want to be a year from now (be realistic).
  2. Write down how much time and effort (and money if needed) you are willing to use to help you reach your goal (full time or part time?).
  3. Consider what type of online business will help you get there. I listed a few above, each of them containing many different ways to do it.
  4. Write out weekly and monthly goals as to what you will do starting tomorrow to reach your goal.

I realize that you won’t have all of the answers yet, and that’s ok. Over time as you start learning and making progress, your immediate goals will change and things will become a lot clearer.

Just take the first step.

Please send me your goals. Post a comment and tell me what you plan to do, and make sure to come back in a month from now to say how you’re doing! :)

Have a great week,
Joel Osborne

Weekend Bonus Offer – Find A Niche And Build A List

Finding a profitable niche to go into is great, but what happens after you have found that niche? What are you suppose to do next?

Many people will start to build a blog around the niche topic, but sadly many will stop there. What really needs to happen is that you will start building a list in that market so that you can follow up with them for weeks and months to come.

That’s where this weekend’s bonus offer comes in handy. Not only will you learn how to find a profitable niche within 7 days, but you will also learn how to create a successful squeeze page to build your list in your new niche!

For this weekend only, purchase “Exposed Niches” and I will also throw in “Squeeze Page Creation” with private label rights!

To be honest, with the already low price of the ebook, offering this bonus is almost ridiculous, so get it here while you can.

Power Start 2010 – Start The Year With A Bang

Since 2010 is still only just about a week old, there is still A LOT of time to get your online marketing efforts into full swing to start the year off with a BANG!

I discussed in an earlier blog post about how important it is to learn from people who are taking action and are where you want to be. I just wanted to touch on that again in this post, as I think many people skip past it without realizing just how important a teacher/mentor/coach can be.

One big trap that a lot of beginner marketers fall into is the feeling that they can do and learn everything themselves and still be successful within a few months. For the most part that can not be done, simply because there is so much to learn and so many distractions that will pop up.

I remember when I was starting out online I thought that way too, I wanted to do everything myself, and so I did. Since then I have learned to do just about anything that I could ever need to get done… but has it cost me a lot of time and money in the process? It probably has.

I spent probably days on end in the beginning to learn how to make a web site and figure out all of the hosting issues, but I did eventually get it done. I also learned over the years how to make some cool web graphics, how to use an autoresponder, 100+ ways to drive traffic to my sites, how to build an email list, how to write an ebook, and so many more things which I could never mention them all.

Note: As a beginner there are certain things that you really should learn how to do, but there are also many things which you don’t necessarily need to learn. They might be nice to learn, but it might be worth a lot more to get someone else to do it for you.

What I am getting at is that when you have a good mentor or coach who is helping you along and pointing you towards success, your job as a beginner becomes A LOT easier. If the coach is giving you step-by-step actions to take, you no longer have to worry about what your doing or if it will be successful, because your knowledgeable coach already knows it will be.

All you have to do is follow what they teach!

My good friend and “big dog guru” Doug Champigny is one of those mentors who knows exactly what needs to be done and can tell you how to do it, how to make 2010 your best year yet online.

Doug has set up a 4-week high-intensity PowerStart coaching program where he will walk you through the steps to get your own online business set up and ready to go. If you can follow instructions and want to get an internet business started up, then I strongly recommend this coaching. Don’t worry, this is not one of those thousands of dollars outsourced coaching programs. No, Doug will be there with you every step of the way.

Repeat Buyers – How To Keep Them

It’s no secret that every internet marketer would love to be able to keep selling to their customers over and over again… and being able to repeatedly sell to buyers several times should be a goal of ours.

But how can we keep buyers coming back over and over again to purchase our products? Well there are many ways to do that, but I with this post I wanted to touch on one very important, but many times over-looked aspect to keeping happy customers.

The quality of customer service is very important in keeping happy and satisfied buyers. If we are continually thanking and giving back to our buyer, the more likely they will stick around and purchase more products from us in the future.

Like most, if not all of my blog posts, come out as a result of an experience I have had recently, and this post is no exception. Over the past month or so I have purchased several different internet marketing related products from marketers who I was not all that familiar with, although I was confident enough in them to purchase. (Note: the products themselves where good, and this post has nothing to do about the individual products).

However, I did have questions that I wanted to ask the marketer about, either to clarify an issue, to expand upon something, or just a general question about the topic. This brings me back to the customer service issue and keeping buyers coming back for more…

… not one of those marketers have responded to my initial (or repeat) contact to them, even though I contacted them in the way that they stated to do so (email, forum message, etc).

If a customer contacts you for almost whatever reason, it is always best to respond to them, either to answer their question or to at least state that you will get back to them by a certain date. None of which these marketers did for me, and it’s been 1-4 weeks since my initial contact.

So how can you keep buyers coming back to purchase from you instead of one of the other thousand marketers? Deliver quality products with quality support systems in place.
